Rechargeable Hearing Aids

Hearing aids have come along way from the big, bulky and at times, cumbersome hearing aids you may have seen in the past. Hearing aids are now small, lightweight, possess excellent technology and are very discrete.  There are many advancements that have taken place in the field of audiology and RECHARGEABLE hearing aids are a new and exciting development.

A simple overnight charge is all it takes for all day listening.  Just remove the hearing aids from the charger, put them on and away you go. No need to fiddle with putting batteries in and out or running out of battery charge at often the most inconvenient time!

Rechargeable hearing aids are a fantastic option for all hearing aids users, but particularly those who have dexterity issues (e.g. arthritis, loss of feeling in fingers or hand tremors) or those with low vision. One manufacturer has even developed a magnetised charger that allows the user to simply slide the hearing aids near the hearing aid ‘charging area’, and the magnet “pulls” them into place.  From an environmental perspective, a single rechargeable battery replaces up to 100 disposable batteries – WOW!
